GREENHOUSE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP

Improving Production via Listening to Plants
January 27-29, 2021

A virtual workshop from 10 am to 2 pm (ET) daily

Topics focus on fundamentals and use of sensor technology for improved environmental control for food and ornamental crop production, including:

  • Greenhouse management fundamentals: Plant physiological and physical aspects, pests, and disease
  • Plant monitoring tools: Just in time irrigation, graphical tracking, and more
  • Commercial plant response-based technologies and tools
  • OSU research updates

Speakers (confirmed) include Ohio State University faculty: Dr. Luis Canas, Dr. Francesca Hand, Dr. Michelle Jones, Dr. Chieri Kubota,  Dr. Peter Ling, and Dr. Uttara Samarakoon; Dr. Royal Heins, Michigan State University; Dr. Marc van Iersel, University of Georgia; plus industry speakers.
